SCHUTZUND TRAINING COMMANDS

Commands are vocal cues that handlers use to instruct their dog during training.  During training and trialing, handlers will use these commands to communicate exercises to be completed during tracking, obedience, and protection.

You may use any language in Schutzhung/IGP, but you must use the same command each time on the field.  Consistency is key, as you will want to have control over your dog on the field.  Some handlers teach basic commands in both languages so that family members and close friends can communicate with the dog if they are in your home frequently.
